The chef should be applauded for making food this good. I had the gnocchi rosee for takeout — and somewhere in the distance, I heard Andrea Bocelli start singing.

Fantastic Italian restaurant in Dorval ! Great pizza and pasta, with a big selection of veal dishes. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience from the free pizza/focaccio splices to the great coffee at the end. The calamari appetizer was plentiful and tender. The Linguine di Mare table d'hote was huge and very tasty. The Vitello all'Angelo (veal) was perfectly prepared with a nice creamy mushroom sauce. The dining room is cozy and the atmosphere is casual. It's a great place for date night, or simply to have some pizza. They're conveniently open for lunch on weekdays.

4 of us on a Friday, 5PM including a surprise Danish guest just off their flight for my Dad's 90th birthday. Beef and barley soup starter was so good, ordered a 2nd. Veal main course was so tasty, and plentiful. Two guests had a seafood pasta with mussels and shrimp...same vibes. Folks running the place were kind and great banter - wished I lived closer than 1200km away:)

Great spot for authentic Italian food. Service was spot on! Very attentive and polite. Warm bread was a nice touch. The meals were delicious. Smaller place, but didn't feel cramped. We will definitely be back. Love these small independent restaurants

Showed up late on a very cold evening; they were closed, with only two staff left. They must have taken pity (I had walked from the hotel about 10 mins away and was frozen) but the chef asked me what I wanted, and offered to cook for me if I took take out. Within 10-15 minutes I had a wonderful meal to take back to my hotel. The food was great, but what truly impressed me was the dedication of the cook: Clearly loves his job, proud of his food, and a big heart to boot! And that is before he knew I was a fellow Maritimer. Thank you again guys, it was much appreciated!

Excellent service from beginning to end, thanks to Frank and our waitress (I can't remember her name!). My husband and I came for a date night. He ordered a plate of cannelloni and I had the linguini carbonara. Big portions and both were delicious, we actually had food to go because we couldn't finish it. We saw a lot of regular clients dining throughout the night which means something must be going right here. I highly recommend Da Mangione for a nice date night or even private events.

I want to thank the really kind man who let us order our Valentine’s Day dinner when the kitchen was closed. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Thank you so much again! I 100% recommend this place.

If I could rate more than 5 stars it would be a 10. First, my bestie and I were welcomed by the owner Frank who seated us at our table. The great serviced continued with Jocelyne. Our plates were enormous and delicious. We will definately be back %
